Overview
Become a soldier with a mission to discover and explore a dugout where allied forces where taking cover in the front lines in World War II!
During archeological research at the Heijendaalseweg in Nijmegen near the former monastery of the Fathers Sacramentines (klooster van de Paters Sacramentijnen) a particularly large World War II dugout was found, besides a lot of ammunition. It’s a 2 meter deep pit where the allied forces had made 4 rooms, with walls built from ammunition boxes.
After a brief introduction you will enter the Dugout. Once inside the dugout you get to complete a few assignments while the pressure from incoming fire increases.

This VR experience allows you to experience what it was like working in a Dugout in World War II.
- Launch the application from the headset or through the MDM
- Follow the instructions (Dutch language only)
- Use the controller to point and the trigger button to click
- Use the controller to teleport through the Dugout
- Use the controller to pickup and drop objects
